CDS exam is divided into three parts. for joining Indian Navy Indian Army and Indian Airforce .But for officers training exam that is divided into two Parts . Time to take this exam is 2 hours and every question a single marker there is is one third deduction of Mark on every wrong answer

The written exam to get entered in INA,IMA and AFA Means CDS exam have 3 subjects that are general knowledge English and Elementary mathematics.In the exam of OTA that consists only two subject general knowledge and English .Elementary Mathematics Is in the exam of IMA ,INA ,AFA .
EXAM Mode-Exams conducted in offline mode that means there are different centers on which a person on individual to fill the form have to go and give his own exam .The exam is given on OMR sheet there is no option Tu to participate in the exam via online mode.
Types of Questions-The questions type is objective . There is four option for every question if you attempt and question and your answer is correct you got one marks but if your answer is wrong then 0.33 marks de detective deducted .
Medium of exam- exam is bilingual Hindi and English are two languages in which is exam held.
Time Duration- 2 hrs for every exam Is pre- decided Maximum marks is hundred as you read above .
Level of questions-
the level of questions varies subject -wise three subjects are there that are Elementary Mathematics general knowledge and English language the level of these three are given below-
Elementary Mathematics-Standard of mathematics is at basic level that is according to your 10th class if you read class 6th to 10th mathematics questions then you easily complete in this exam and got good marks as compared to other subjects because it is fully based on elementary Mathematics means basic mathematics to prepare Elementary Mathematics you must have to read as well as practice all the class 6th to 10th notes . NCERT books help you the most to read and revision of basic mathematics.
General knowledge-The paper of general knowledge consider last year history means the basic history and about the nature of Geography means in the paper geography and history are present that are at basic level You easily qualify but by preparing NCERT books of class 6th to 10th you can easily revise those topics who are very important and can boost Your marks. the general knowledge also include the current affairs you easily qualify by studying daily newspaper as well as there are some important books to read the general knowledge that are like arihant. which is also very important during the preparation of NDA examination but in the case of CDS this book plays an important role
English- The English required to qualify CDS exam is much tougher than above two if you compare If you know Basic English then that is good but it is not sufficient you must have to know the use of words at different places with basics. English is prepared easily by Studying last year examination papers. This examination was mainly for to know that candidate how much know about the use of word at different places .
Interview Exam pattern-
The candidates who get qualified by written examination are called for SSB interview Interview consists of 300 marks But In the case of OTA That is of 200 marks .
The SSB interview is head into stages are described below The person who qualify stage 1 will all phones stress too but who are rejected the cannot come back
1.Stage 1 is officer intelligence Rating Which contains picture perception and Description test (PP and DT). according To performance in Picture perception and description test Candidates are chosen.
2. Candidates who are qualified in stage 1 are invited to take part in Stage 2.which Consist of personal interview group testing and psychological tests. that is held total in 4 days.
Negative marking is present in the Cds examination for every incorrect answer one third marks will be deducted If you left any question and not answer that then there will be no marks deduction All questions are objective types means they have four options. English GK and mathematics considers of 300 marks that means every examination will have maximum 100 marks .In the case of OTA consist of 200 marks. English and GK are two subjects present in that.

If we talk about previous 10 years analysis then misal that every examination have some easy and some typical parts.
English- Mainly the examination of CDS Is to test the understanding of English language to the candidate if he understood English language then he can easily take a good advantage of this exam.
General knowledge -If talk about general knowledge then It is much deeper than English Basically history is much tougher than other subjects in the general knowledge section. If you read history class 6 to 10 we can easily score good marks in history. Science is basically for a good score. Their concept based questions are present more. so the level of science is much easier to score .Case of geography economics and ecology and Miscellaneous questions about armed forces is deeper to read.
